Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1000000 (ie INR 5-10 LPA)
The Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact between the organization and its clients. This role is responsible for managing existing accounts, driving revenue growth through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and ensuring long-term client retention through exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will build trusted relationships, exceed client expectations, and consistently deliver against sales and revenue goals. The role requires a daily visit to the office.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Revenue Growth
- Own and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and executing cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
- Meet assigned sales and revenue targets in line with business goals.
- Forecast monthly and quarterly sales targets and ensure timely execution.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including CXO-level contacts.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and delivering proactive, value-driven solutions.
- Ensure long-term client retention by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.
Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate closely with internal service delivery teams to resolve client issues and provide timely solutions.
- Ensure smooth execution of proposals and ongoing engagements.
- Update all client interactions, meetings, and follow-ups in the CRM system by end of day.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of physical client meetings per day
- Proposals generated per week
- Accuracy of sales forecasting
- 4–5 new client sign-ups per month
Education & Experience
- Graduate or MBA; MBA from a premium B-school preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate sales.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, aggressive, and highly competitive sales environment.
