General Overview:
We are hiring an Account Manager for our client to support and grow their presence in Oman. This role is ideal for a motivated, client-focused professional who enjoys relationship management, market engagement, and collaborating with regional teams.
Based in Muscat (remote working), the position offers regional exposure and the opportunity to contribute to a growing business by managing client accounts, identifying new opportunities, and supporting cross-border initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients in Oman.
- Understand client needs and present appropriate products or solutions.
- Proactively prospect the market and initiate new business opportunities, including cold outreach.
- Conduct market research and share insights, trends, and opportunities with the regional team.
- Support regional teams on client engagements, projects, and ongoing initiatives.
- Coordinate and participate in client meetings, both locally and regionally, as required.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and market activities.
Key Requirements:
- Omani National – mandatory.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in account management, business development, or a client-facing role.
- Background in Pharmacy or IT is highly desirable.
- Experience in health insurance is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable initiating client conversations.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across regions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel based on business needs.
- Open to flexible working arrangements and regional exposure.
