Account Director - Social & Integrated Strategy

About the Role

As an Account Director, you'll be the senior strategic and commercial lead across key accounts. You'll drive integrated social strategies that push boundaries, deliver results, and unlock growth. You'll bring big-picture thinking, creative instinct, and commercial precision - balancing bold ideas with smart delivery.

You'll work remotely from Germany with occasional travel to Cologne for client meetings and team sessions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Client Partnership: Act as the senior point of contact, nurturing relationships, building trust, and guiding clients with confidence and clarity.

  • Campaign Oversight: Lead planning and execution of standout integrated campaigns that drive impact across organic, paid, and influencer.

  • Commercial Management: Manage scopes, budgets, and profitability - ensuring the work is not just excellent but sustainable.

  • New Business & Growth: Shape pitches and proposals, identify growth opportunities, and help steer the future of key accounts.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing client services team, fostering collaboration, ownership and ambition.

  • Insight & Performance: Oversee reporting and performance analysis to inform strategy, demonstrate ROI, and optimise future work.

  • Culture & Collaboration: Be a champion of positive culture - both within your team and in how we show up to clients and partners.

  • What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior client services role, ideally within a creative, digital, or social agency.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channel campaigns and high-value client relationships.

  • A strategic thinker with strong instincts for social, cultural trends, and emerging platforms.

  • Commercially astute with experience managing scopes, budgets, and profitability.

  • A natural communicator and presenter - articulate, persuasive, and trusted by clients and teams alike.

  • A leader and mentor who's confident coaching others and building a team culture of excellence and support.

  • Fluent English required; German language skills are a plus but not essential.
