Hero Calling | Contract Accountant | BAU Support | South of River | Contract | $50-60 per hour (base)

Calling all heroes (Contract Accountants), an established industrial / engineering services business based south of the river is seeking an Accountant to provide BAU finance support during a busy operational period. This role suits a practical, detail-oriented accountant who enjoys being close to the numbers and keeping the finance engine running smoothly. Basically I need a safe pair of hands.

The Role: Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will support day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting and a clean month-end close.

Responsibilities

  • Month-end close support (journals, accruals, prepayments)
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Variance analysis and basic reporting
  • Supporting AP/AR where required
  • Assisting with audit preparation...
