Accountant for a Contracting firm

A contracting firm in Ashrafieh is looking for a full-time accountant.
He/she will be expected to manage all financial and accounting tasks independently:



He/shewill be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company’s operations:



-Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions

-Preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets

-Handling accounts payable and receivable

-Managing bank reconciliations and cash flow

-Processing payroll and employee expense reports

-Preparing and filing VAT/tax returns and ensuring compliance

-Assisting and liaising with external auditors or authorities as needed

-Using accounting software to maintain accurate financial records

Qualifications:



-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

-At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the contracting or construction industry

-Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations

-Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

-High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30
