Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis in Madurai. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of work experience in accounting and finance. The role requires expertise in Tally Prime and GST Filling, and it provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as part of a small yet efficient team.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Tally Prime (Mandatory skill) is essential for all accounting records management and compliance.
  • Experience with GST Filling (Mandatory skill) is crucial for the accurate preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required for complex financial analysis and data manipulation tasks.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks enhances your capability to manage and report financial activities efficiently.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics can significantly streamline accounting operations and reporting.
  • Understanding of financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, solve problems effectively, and improve financial processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
  • Conduct regular GST filings and tax compliance activities to ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts to rectify any discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes to support strategic business decisions.
  • Generate financial statements and reports that provide valuable insights for senior management.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditors' inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
