Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. Develops and maintains accounting practices to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Achieves financial reporting target dates and involves a multitude of accounting activities, including, but not limited to general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, payroll and the support of budget and forecast activities. Interacts with all levels of management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Accountant or GL Accountant role
- Must be well-versed in inventory and Purchase Order processes, especially International
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. An MBA and/or a CPA is a plus
- Must be Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Must have a good knowledge of ERP Systems - Enterprise Resource Planning; A familiarity with Chempax ERP is a plus
