Join Our Team as an Accountant
Strike Energy Limited (Strike) is a proudly Western Australian Company building an integrated, low‑carbon energy business, based on our access to Perth Basing and new energy resources. Our primary objective is to provide sustainable, low-cost, and reliable gas to the domestic market in order to support the Western Australian energy transition away from coal fired power and to enable the growth of the critical minerals industry.
We’re seeking a driven accountant to play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Group’s financial and management accounting and reporting in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.

What you’ll be doing:
Accounting
Assist with the consolidation of the Group’s financial reporting across multiple entities.
Prepare month-end reconciliations and posting journals.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial systems and accounting processes.
Assist with the preparation of the Group’s annual and half yearly financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
Assist with quarterly ASX reporting.
Prepare information required for the external auditors.
Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management report.
Taxation & Corporate
Assist with the preparation and lodgment of the Group’s taxation obligations, including BAS, FBT, monthly and annual state payroll tax returns, and annual workers’ compensation remuneration returns.
Prepare quarterly ABS submissions.
What we’re looking for:
Recently qualified CA or CPA.
In depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting frameworks.
High attention to detail, with the ability to turn numbers into meaningful insights.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
A drive for continuous improvement across processes and procedures.
Proficiency using Excel, Word and Power Point.
What will set you apart:
Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks.
Experience in energy and infrastructure sectors desirable.
ERP/Pronto and Anaplan experience desirable.
