Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to independently manage day-to-day accounting operations of our organic food business. The role requires strong knowledge of taxation, inventory accounting, vendor management, and financial compliance in a manufacturing/FMCG setup.
Responsibilities
- Independently handle books of accounts, journal entries, ledgers, and month-end closing
- Manage GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, and notices
- Handle accounts payable & receivable, vendor payments, customer collections, and ageing
- Perform bank, cash, and statutory reconciliations
- Maintain inventory accounting, stock valuation, and coordination with stores/production teams
- Track purchase, production, and expense accounting for organic food products
- Prepare MIS reports, cost statements, and financial summaries for management
- Assist in statutory audits, GST audits, and internal audits
