Role Overview


We are hiring an experienced Accountant (3–5 years) to support a global client’s accounting operations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Workday Financial Management experience , solid accounting fundamentals, and the ability to independently manage close activities and client interactions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Handle end-to-end day-to-day accounting including journal entries, GL maintenance, and reconciliations
  • Work extensively on Workday Financial Management for transactions, validations, and reporting
  • Own and support month-end and year-end close processes within defined timelines
  • Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules
  • Ensure compliance with client accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and respond to client and stakeholder queries
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and financial records
  • Support process improvements and ad-hoc accounting requirements


Required Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience , preferably in a client-facing or shared services environment
  • Hands-on Workday Financial Management experience (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Experience supporting month-end / year-end close cycles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for reconciliations and reporting
  • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to meet client deadlines
  • Good communication skills for client and internal coordination
