As an Accounting Administrator on the Finance Team in our Gurgaon office, you’ll play a vital role in managing financial data across multiple systems. We are looking for a meticulous and highly collaborative Accounting Administrator. This isn’t just a data-entry role; it is a communication-heavy position that will manage our finance inbox, internal relationships across multiple teams, and coordination with Account Managers; someone whose attention to detail is their greatest strength and whose organizational skills allow them to juggle high-volume tasks without losing focus.


To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: 2+ years in an accounting-support, AR, or high volume administrative role.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to navigate and sync data across multiple software platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with NetSuite and SalesForce.com.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Problem Solver: You don’t just report a problem; you look for the root cause and suggest a fix.

  • Interpersonal Excellence: You will interact with sales teams, finance teams and management daily. You must be able to maintain professional, positive relationships even when discussing challenging topics.

  • Adaptability: You are comfortable working across multiple software systems and can pivot quickly when priorities shift.

    As an Accounting Administrator, you’ll bring value by:

  • Cash Applications: Apply daily payments (Wire, ACH, Check) to customer accounts in a timely manner.

  • Account Reconciliations: Research and resolve discrepancies between our ERP system and Business system.

  • Monthly Statements: Own the end-to-end distribution of monthly customer statements.

  • Customer Set-up: Review and validate new customer data across multiple internal systems to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

  • Credit Insurance: Handle the submission and review of credit insurance applications, monitoring coverage limits and compliance.

  • Inbox Triage: Act as the primary owner of the finance inbox. You will respond to inquiries, solve problems independently, or strategically route emails to the appropriate team members.

  • Internal Liaison: Communicate directly with Account Managers regarding customer credit holds, account adjustments, and documentation requests.

  • Collections: Evaluate and resolve requests from collections team and local finance team.

  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Support the finance team with special projects, audit preparations, and reporting as needed.
