In this role, you will support the company by facilitating financial transactions, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments, accurately enter financial and other business data into spreadsheets, databases, or software platforms, review data for errors or inconsistencies, resolve discrepancies and other essential accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong mathematical skills and previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Responsibilities Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the accuracy of charges and payments Enter financial data and transactions Analyze financial information Process accounts payable and receivable Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations Qualifications Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Good with spreadsheets, experienced and highly proficient in Google suite, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills High level of computer proficiency
