Overview of the Role
The Accounting Assistant will complete data entry, processing disbursements, recording transactions, updating ledger, assist in reviewing and preparation of periodic financial reporting, statutory and management reports. The candidate should have an in-depth working knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency with accounting software (e.g QuickBooks, XERO).
Main Duties
- Preparation and Review of the following financial reports
- Reconciliation of the following financial report:
- Balance Sheet Accounts
- Profit and Loss Accounts
- Wages
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts and invoices
- Assist with preparation for annual audits
- Compliance with all the relevant client policies and procedures
