Job Description

An Accounting Assistant is an entry or mid-level accounting professional who is responsible for maintaining financial records at a business, usually as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Checking and compilation of EIR
  • Billing monitoring
  • Maintain financial records for individual shipments and entire transportation fleets
  • Work closely with dispatchers and transportation managers to ensure accurate billing and payment for services
  • Manage accounts receivable related to transportation transactions
  • Use accounting software and other tools to manage financial data and generate reports
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the management

Job Requirements

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 1-2 years previous experience in accounting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
