Job Description
An Accounting Assistant is an entry or mid-level accounting professional who is responsible for maintaining financial records at a business, usually as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
- Checking and compilation of EIR
- Billing monitoring
- Maintain financial records for individual shipments and entire transportation fleets
- Work closely with dispatchers and transportation managers to ensure accurate billing and payment for services
- Manage accounts receivable related to transportation transactions
- Use accounting software and other tools to manage financial data and generate reports
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the management
Job Requirements
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years previous experience in accounting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
