Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Department: Finance

Reports to: Director of Finance

Location: Edmonton

Role Summary

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Clerk is directly responsible for coordination of all accounts payable activities, bookkeeping and record keeping at AIC. The AP Clerk must ensure that all company bills are paid accurately and timely. Petty cash and credit cards must be tracked and reconciled, along with accurate data maintained for filing of GST. They will also assist with filing.

Responsibilities

  • Invoices review, entry and reconciliation.
  • Timely and accurate processing of all AP items.
  • Proactively communicate issues to the Director of Finance.
  • Accurate entry of appropriate G/L account information.
  • Preparation of various accounting entries as required.
