Job Description
As the Accounting Manager at Amgen, you'll be responsible for overseeing the general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. You will review, monitor and manage budgets, develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information, supports financial reporting, and leads initiatives to standardize, automate, and elevate finance processes.

+ Lead and manage the GAAP accounting close process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
+ Partner with outsourced teams, collaborate with regional/country accounting teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial reporting and reconciliations.
+ Actively participate in automation, system enhancements, and digital finance initiatives to simplify existing process areas. Partnering with country, project and other functional teams effectively.
