Accounting Manager

Job Overview

We are hiring an Accounting Manager with strong experience in US and Indian accounting operations to manage end-to-end finance activities for a recruitment/staffing organization. The role involves handling domestic and US accounting, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, and financial reporting while leading a small accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations for US and Domestic recruitment business
• Handle US accounting including invoicing, revenue recognition, AR/AP, and bank reconciliations
• Manage Indian accounting including books of accounts, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF & ESI compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
• Coordinate with US clients on billing, collections, and reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP (basic understanding) and Indian accounting standards
• Manage payroll coordination for US and India staffing employees
• Handle audits, tax filings, and liaison with CA/CPA firms
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
• Lead, mentor, and review work of junior accounting staff
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA / CMA preferred)
• 5 8 years of experience in accounting, preferably in US staffing or recruitment industry
• Hands-on experience with US accounting & billing cycles
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
• Experience with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Tally, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERPs
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with US stakeholders
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Hands-on experience with payroll software and accounting tools (Tally, Zoho, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Good understanding of Indian payroll laws and taxation
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
• High attention to detail and accuracy
