Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager, located in Mumbai. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily accounting operations, including the preparation and review of financial statements, recording and reviewing journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing the payroll. The role also involves monitoring and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making and ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reports.
Qualifications
- Expertise in preparing and managing Financial Statements with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Analytical Skills to analyze financial data and support strategic decisions effectively
- Proficiency in Journal Entries and other core accounting tasks
- Knowledge of Finance concepts and ability to apply them in practical financial management
- Experience in managing and auditing Fixed Assets in compliance with regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification would be an added advantage)
- Proficiency in accounting software and strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and interpersonal communication
- Background in embroidery exports will be an added advantage but not necessary.
- Knowledge of managing and analysing GST data for refund purpose will be beneficial.
