Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Officer to manage and maintain the company’s General Ledger (GL) accounts. The role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the General Ledger accurately and timely
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities
- Support preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Assist in improving accounting processes and system efficiency
