Job Description
The Accounting Officer manages core accounting and financial reporting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and period close. Prepares budgets, forecasts, and actuals for fixed SG&A and non-operating expenses, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls. Oversees balance sheet reconciliations, corporate credit card administration, key accounting systems, and external audit coordination, while driving process and policy improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks related to journal entries, reconciliations, period close, and daily/monthly standard activities.
- Prepare Budget, Forecast, and Actuals for fixed SG&A and non-operating expenses, ensuring accurate recording in line with internal policies, controls, and accounting standards (GAAP and IFRS).
