Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: An employee hired to perform a multitude of tasks and duties pertaining to the organization and maintenance of school district accounting records, statements and reports and assisting with payroll when required, under the direct supervision of the Manager of Finance. POSITION: TEMPORARY until the return of the incumbent or September 7, 2027 HOURS OF WORK: 35 hrs/wk. - 10-month position (September to June) WAGE RATE: As per CUPE agreement $32.10 QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Grade 12 or equivalent. Valid British Columbia Driver’s License may be required.Business Administration Diploma or equivalent work experience Minimum of two years’ experience in an accounting environment Minimum of two years’ experience in computer software, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets (Excel), computer payroll systems and email.
