Responsibilities

  • Record invoices, bills, receipts, and other transactions
  • Process accounts receivable (issuance of receipts, computation of EWT, income tax)
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Post adjusting journal entries
  • File and maintain documents in accordance with the company’s record management system
  • Prepare and review periodic reports required by other departments or top management
  • Assist in preparing financial statements with supporting schedules
  • Support VAT and income tax computations
  • Perform general accounting tasks as needed

Skills and Competencies

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, AP/AR, cash application, and collection practices/regulations
  • Knowledge in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and spreadsheet applications
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
