Job Description
Responsibilities
- Record invoices, bills, receipts, and other transactions
- Process accounts receivable (issuance of receipts, computation of EWT, income tax)
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Post adjusting journal entries
- File and maintain documents in accordance with the company’s record management system
- Prepare and review periodic reports required by other departments or top management
- Assist in preparing financial statements with supporting schedules
- Support VAT and income tax computations
- Perform general accounting tasks as needed
Skills and Competencies
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, AP/AR, cash application, and collection practices/regulations
- Knowledge in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and spreadsheet applications
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
