Accounting Supervisor

Job description:

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily accounting operations with exposure in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) related to freight forwarding, trucking, and warehousing activities. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely billing and collections, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise end-to-end AP and AR processes related to logistics operations (freight charges, trucking fees, port charges, warehouse costs)
• Review and approve supplier invoices, disbursements, and employee reimbursements
• Ensure accurate and timely billing to clients , including freight, storage, demurrage, and other logistics-related charges
• Monitor collections, aging reports, and customer credit limits
