Our manufacturing client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant based at their premises in South Down.
Responsibilities:
Management of the purchase ledger to include posting of raw material and overhead supplier invoices. Checking of supplier statements, following up on any discrepancies and payment of suppliers in accordance with agreed credit terms. Bank transactions and reconciliations. Analyse and post direct expenses from Credit Card Statement, Expense Claims and Petty Cash. Produce and submit various Government Statutory reports such as VAT returns, ECSL and Intrastat etc. Take responsibility for the administration of outsourced weekly payroll calculation and electronic payment of wages in accordance with contracts.
