Job Description
We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join a successful SME based in Halesowen. The role will report into the Financial Controller.
ResponsibilitiesProcess approximately 400–500 supplier invoices per month across around 150 live accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the accounting system Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams Prepare weekly supplier payment runs, maintain supplier records and reconcile supplier accounts Support the processing of documentary credits for imported raw materials Monitor and manage approximately 60 live customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances Issue statements and payment reminders in line with credit terms and escalate overdue accounts where required Liaise with internal sales teams to resolve customer payment issues Maint...
