Job Description
WHAT IS THE AIM AND PURPOSE OF MY POSITION
The Accounts Officer will play a key role in supporting the Finance Team through accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. With a primary focus on banking and bank reconciliations, this role will also assist across Accounts Receivable and other day-to-day accounting activities, helping ensure the integrity of financial records and smooth finance operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Banking and Reconciliations
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Ensure banking transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies where required.
- Manage the business credit card account.
