Accounts Payable Lead

Job Title: Accounts Payable

Experience: 4–7 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting Lead to manage the overall spectrum of finance function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and taxation, with hands-on experience in leading the month-end closing process and building robust systems and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit closure/IND AS :

Lead statutory audit/internal audit and closure of year end under IND AS .

• Month-End Closing Process :

Ensure timely and accurate closing of books with respect to accounts payable and accounts receivables.

• Compliance and Controls :

Ensure adherence to GST, direct taxes and related regulatory requirements.

• MIS and Control Templates :

Train and guide the team in designing and maintaining MIS templates and ledger-level control sheets.

• Process Standardization (SOPs) :

Develop and implement SOPs across all AP processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and compliance.

• Treasury Management

Work closely in debt raise, investment management and banking relationship

• Automation

Lead projects to automate controls and processes

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant with atleast 5 years of experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / NetSuite preferred).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting.
