Job Description Job Description Job Overview The Suspended Ceiling Installer is responsible for the end-to-end installation of ceiling suspension systems and acoustical treatments. This role requires a blend of structural framing skills and finish-grade attention to detail, as the final product is a primary aesthetic feature of the building’s interior. Key Responsibilities Layout & Measurement: Interpret blueprints and reflected ceiling plans (RCP) to accurately mark hanger points and wall-angle heights using laser levels. Grid Installation: Install 15/16 and 9/16 suspension systems (main runners and cross-tees). Ensure the grid is perfectly level and square to avoid tile gaps. Hanger & Support: Secure 12-gauge hanger wires to the overhead structure (concrete, steel, or wood joists) in compliance with safety and seismic codes.
