Contributing to the operation and ongoing development of the internal capital model with respect to reserving riskValidating actuarial reserves under Solvency II for the Property & Casualty reinsurance business of the Hannover Re GroupDeveloping methods and systems for reserve calculation and validation tasksPerforming in-depth analyses to support internal portfolio steeringAssisting with the fulfilment of supervisory requirements, especially regarding the Actuarial Function under Solvency II for Property & Casualty reinsurance businessCommunicating with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and colleagues from the Hannover Re Group’s international networkYou come equipped with
Several years of professional experience in actuarial or risk management in (re)insuranceMaster’s degree in (business) mathematics, physics, computer science or a comparable fieldActuarial expertise, e.g., through DAV courses, CERA, or similar, ideally with completed DAV qualificationProgramming skills (R, Python, Matlab) as well as proficiency in using databases and Office productsStrong communication skills, combined with business-fluent German and EnglishStructured thinking, high organizational ability, and excellent time management skillsTeam-oriented mindset, able to work effectively in an international environmentYou may not meet every requirement listed in the job description.
