Driver Display & Assistance (Cluster + ADAS + HIL testing exposure):
Job Title: ADAS SME – Verification & Validation
Experience: 12-15 years in Automotive Systems, ADAS, and V&V
Role Overview:
As an ADAS Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Verification and Validation , you will lead and support the testing and validation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, develop test cases, and analyze results for complex ADAS functionalities such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Emergency Braking, and Autonomous Driving features
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership:
- Act as the go-to expert for ADAS verification and validation processes.
- Provide guidance on industry standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF, UNECE regulations).
- Test Strategy & Planning:
- Define V&V strategies for ADAS features across simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and vehicle-level testing.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on system requirements.
- Execution & Analysis:
- Perform functional, performance, and safety validation of ADAS features.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Tools & Frameworks:
- Work with tools like dSPACE, Vector, CANoe, MATLAB/Simulink , and simulation platforms (e.g., IPG CarMaker, PreScan).
- Support automation of test execution and reporting.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to automotive standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with system engineers, software developers, and safety teams.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback from a V&V perspective
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics/Automotive Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of ADAS features and sensor technologies (Radar, Camera, LiDAR).
- Hands-on experience in Verification & Validation for automotive systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 , SOTIF , and functional safety concepts.
- Proficiency in HIL testing , simulation environments , and vehicle-level validation .
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Autonomous Driving Level 2/3 systems .
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Connectivity aspects in ADAS.
- Exposure to AI/ML-based perception algorithms .
