The department is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Medical Billing & Coding Instructor to guide students through the fundamentals of healthcare documentation, coding systems, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for professionals who love teaching, mentoring, and shaping future healthcare leaders.

Core Competencies and Qualifications

  • Earned Associate's Degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution required.
  • Current on ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding updates.
  • Certified in one: RMA, NCMS, CCMA, CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA
  • Proof of “instructional methodology” training or acquire this asap.
  • Work experience of 2 years as a Billing & Coding Specialist or related field.
