Adjunct Instructor

About the Job

The University of Minnesota Rochester periodically needs adjunct instructors to join our growing team to teach courses in variety of areas, including but not limited to biology, chemistry, math, history, communications, and more. Our goal is to establish a pool of instructors to engage when we have openings throughout our upcoming academic semesters. Responsibilities include developing and teaching courses, creating a welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds, holding weekly Just Ask (office) hours for students, consulting with other UMR faculty and colleagues, and participating in other academic activities (curricular meetings, etc.). This is a term, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) position. Pay is based on a per course, per credit basis.
