Duties may include:
+ Developing and managing course syllabi while adhering to department and college standards
+ Collaborating with colleagues in course curriculum
+ Delivering learning-centered instruction to undergraduate students
+ Assist in the growth and success of a diverse population of students through careful preparation of course materials, effective teaching methodologies, informed critical feedback on assignments and discussions
+ Develop and adapt curriculum incorporating current technologies into the classroom or on-line learning environment (LMS)
+ Implementing school/campus academic and attendance policies
+ Pursuing knowledge of innovations and changes within subject area and field of practice
+ Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations
Job Requirements:
+ Appropriate college level degree as determined by Dean, commensurate with level of course complexity
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's or PhD
+ Professional experience
+ License in subject area, where applicable
+ Prior teaching experience
+ Prior teaching at the collegiate level
+ Prior on-line course instruction
