Strategically located on the Liverpool Plains of NSW, one hour south-west of Tamworth, JBS Australia’s Caroona Feedlot employs approximately 50 people and includes a dryland and irrigation farming operation. With a licensed capacity of 28,000 head, access to an extensive network of quality cattle and ideally placed between the Riverina & Beef City plants, Caroona is a vital asset in the supply of grain fed cattle for both the JBS Queensland and New South Wales based processing facilities. The farm supplies the grain, silage and hay required for the cattle in the feedlot.
