About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Administrative Assistant. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in greeting internal and external stakeholders professionally and promptly. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a polished presentation, and proven experience delivering high levels of service while thinking on your feet. Like all busy administration roles, you must be flexible, calm under pressure, have great initiative and be able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a positive and professional approach.

The role is responsible for answering and correctly directing all incoming calls, correspondence management, visitor management, organising meetings, taking minutes and arranging meeting facilities. You will also manage building maintenance requests, and provide support with a wide variety of administration tasks, including assisting on any ad hoc projects as part of the Courts Executive team.

This is a full‑time 75‑hour per fortnight role. Reception hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, and you will be required to work as part of a team roster to ensure that our services are provided within our hours of operation.

Eligibility

Permanent positions – To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
