If you are a talented and experienced Administrative Assistant, David Aplin Group has partnered with a Halifax-based company to recruit for a temporary position with an immediate start date!

Responsibilities:
  • Provide key Administrative support for the Facilities and Maintenance department
  • Act as a point of contact for Facilities and Maintenance related inquiries
  • Maintenance of electronic filing systems and digitized records
  • Assist with invoicing
  • Report on the accuracy of orders coming in
  • Oversee office supplies inventory
  • Receiving, distributing and sending mail packages
  • Other general administrative support as needed

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Administrative experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be a self-starting individual
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
  • Applicants must meet the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements, Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
