We are seeking an Administrative Assistant/Junior Paralegal to join the legal department at Remington Hospitality. You will work with two attorneys to provide administrative and paralegal support on a dynamic and growing team that is responsible for roughly 140 hotels. A great attitude, optimism, cooperation, the ability to take a solutions-oriented approach, passion, and a willingness to learn are a must. This position is based in-person at the corporate headquarters for Remington Hospitality.
This position reports to the Chief Legal Officer.
Job Duties:
Provide administrative support to the CLO and General Counsel with calendaring, booking travel, processing invoices, expense reports etc. Track all incoming mail for the legal department. Manage contract log of incoming hotel-level agreements for distribution to contract managers. Review and mark-up hotel level service agreements and credit applications.
Manage and maintain electronic files as new hotel management agreements are signed. Prepare summaries of contracts. Create and maintain reports tracking key dates relating to, and material terms of, certain legal documents to ensure all deadlines are met and for other reporting purposes Facilitate responses to requests for information from internal and external partners including the hotel development and hotel operations team. Enter data related to insurance claims and hotel incident reports into a database. Assist with power point presentations. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as paralegal studies, legal studies, business law, or finance, preferred Paralegal certification is a plus Minimum of two years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant. Experience in the hospitality industry preferred Must have the ability to work on-site five days a week Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Working knowledge of legal terminology and legal writing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Superb attention to detail, as well as, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
