Job Description
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Primary Light Vehicle, Pisten Bully, and Mattrack trainer for all grantees and support personnel on proper safe use of vehicles.
+ Schedules training classes for ASC, NSF and other support personnel when they arrive in McMurdo.
+ Manages the pool of trucks and track vehicles, to include data management, scheduling, tracking use, and keeping the vehicles clean.
+ Inputs data into the Training Database.
+ Coordinates weekly staff safety training.
+ Maintains inventory of capital equipment, including allocation and tracking.
+ Determines mechanical problems and necessary services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
