Facility Project Manager (FPM)

Role Summary

The Facility Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of facility build-outs, expansions, renovations and Capex projects across sites. The role requires strong technical, project management and stakeholder coordination skills to ensure timely, cost-efficient and compliant project execution.


Key Responsibilities


- Lead new facility setups, interior fit-outs and infrastructure upgrades.


- Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets and progress dashboards.


- Oversee MEP works (Electrical, HVAC, Fire & Safety, Networking) and ensure technical quality.


- Manage contractors/vendors and ensure adherence to SLAs, safety norms and project timelines.


- Validate BOQs, proposals, and Capex budgets, drive cost optimization.


- Ensure statutory compliance, local approvals and audit readiness.


- Coordinate with IT, HR, Business Operations, Physical Security and Finance for project alignment.


- Conduct site reviews, risk assessments, quality inspections and issue resolution.


- Facilitate smooth handover including snag closure, commissioning and documentation.


Qualifications


- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical preferred).


- 10–12 year’s experience in Facility Projects within BPO/ITES or corporate real estate.


- Strong technical understanding of MEP, interior works, and commercial infrastructure.


- Experience managing projects 50,000–200,000 sq. ft.


- Certifications like PMP/Prince2 preferred.


Technical Skills


- Project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana/Jira).


- AutoCAD and ability to read drawings/BOQs.


- Budgeting, Capex planning, cost control.


- Knowledge of electrical load planning, UPS/DG, HVAC, fire systems.
