We are seeking suitableapplications for a highly capable and values-driven individual tojoin our Administrative Officer to join our Department of Nursingand Midwifery Education and Research (DNAMER) team at King EdwardMemorial Hospital (KEMH).
This is for a Permanent Full-Time appointment.
Whatis our Administrative Officer role?
This position provides ahigh level administrative and secretarial support for the Head ofDNAMER as well as educators, researchers and clinical facilitatorswithin DNAMER; facilitates and manages all administrative aspectsof the training process for nurses, midwives, students andgraduates across the organisation and acts as secretariat forvarious education committees.

In mid-2006, as part of thehealth reform in Western Australia, KEMH joined with other women'sbased health services to form the new Women and Newborn HealthService (WNHS), which is a part of the larger NMHS.
With dedicated staff andbest practices based on the most current evidence-based medicine,WNHS continues to deliver first-class health care to women andinfants in WA.
KEMH is the State's onlytertiary maternity and gynaecological hospital and treated itsfirst patients in 1916. Today more than 6000 births take place atthe hospital every year and it is WA's only major referral centrefor high-risk pregnancies. KEMH also has a state-of-the-art SpecialCare Nursery, designed to care for premature and sickinfants.
KEMH also cares forapproximately 5000 women with gynaecological conditions each year -from urological and cancer related problems to sexually transmitteddiseases and reproductive disorders.
WNHS also offer a maternityand gynaecology unit at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) which providesgynaecology care and obstetric care to women with low to moderaterisk pregnancies. Women may choose to receive care at OPH forgeneral convenience whilst receiving equally specialised care at asmaller suburban site.
WNHS manages severalstatewide services such as BreastScreen WA, and other specialistprograms for women and babies.

In addition to this, should the successfulapplicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the nextmost suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitmentdecision.
