We’re seeking an Administrative Support professional to drive essential functions within the dynamic Hill Levene School of Business. What You’ll Do:
- Service Excellence: Deliver a high level of service excellence in a fast-paced environment, interacting with students from all over the world.
- Academic Support: Manage responding to general questions about the various programs offered by the Hill Levene School of Business and the University, University procedures, schedule students appointments for academic advising, provide direction regarding admissions and registration process, assist with prerequisite overrides, and provide general assistance to current and prospective students, the general public, and faculty members.
- Administrative Processes: Manage the collection of and organize co‑op student applications and reports, run various course and student reports, sort mail and assign mailboxes, scan documents, purchase office supplies and provide support for events.
- Engage Globally: Contribute to diverse tasks as needed to support the thriving environment of the Schools of Business.

Position Requirements
- Grade 12 with the successful completion of recognized business course(s), combined with a minimum of three years’ related experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Completion of some university classes is an asset.
Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role:
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and proficiency in creating and maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and documents.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to deal effectively in a courteous, cooperative, and confidential manner with students, staff and the public.
- Analytical, critical assessment, and problem‑solving skills for primary duties relating to students, faculty, staff and the public.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures and the Hill School of Business programs and admission requirements.
- Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment.
- Knowledge and skill in the use of Banner, Caspur Reports, Degree Audit, and UR Docs.
- Understanding of the different requirements associated with the various programs in the Faculty: Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor of Business Admin, etc.
- Experience organizing and coordinating events.
- Experience delivering professional, competent customer service on the front office; interacting effectively with students, potential students, donors, senior business community members, and senior university executives; developing effective collegial working relationships with stakeholders.
Physical Demands, Pay Grade, and Working Conditions
Physical Demands:
Pay Grade: CUPE Phase 4
Salary Range: $44,262.40 – $59,768.80 annually
Status: Permanent
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on campus.
