Your Role
As an Adobe Analytics Developer , you will architect and implement robust web/app analytics solutions that power data‑driven decision making. You’ll translate business requirements into scalable tracking designs, implement tags via Adobe Tags (Launch) / Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK , validate data quality end‑to‑end, and enable stakeholders with accurate, timely insight in Analysis Workspace.
In this role you will play a key role in:
Solution Design & Governance
Convert KPIs and user journeys into tracking plans/SDRs (e Vars, props, events), map to XDM/AA variables , define report suites/virtual report suites, and set processing rules & classifications.
Tagging Implementation (Web & Mobile)
Implement and maintain analytics via Adobe Tags (Launch) extensions, AEP Web SDK / Edge Network , App Measurement (where applicable), and mobile SDKs; ensure performant, privacy‑safe beaconing.
Validation, QA & Data Quality
Use Adobe Experience Platform Assurance (Project Griffon) , Adobe Debugger, Charles/Fiddler, network inspectors, and sandbox environments to validate events, context data, and variable mappings; establish automated checks and alerting.
Workspace Enablement & Insights Readiness
Build foundational segments, calculated metrics, and panels ; curate components for business users; manage Data Warehouse/Data Feeds for downstream modeling and BI.
Personalization & Mar Tech Integration
Integrate Analytics with Adobe Target (A4 T), AEP RTCDP/Journey Optimizer , consent tools, and key destinations; ensure consistent identity stitching and taxonomy across platforms.
Compliance, Privacy & Consent
Implement consent gating, IP obfuscation, and data minimization; partner with security/legal to adhere to GDPR/CCPA/DPDP and internal data policies.
Monitoring & Optimization
Maintain version control, environments, and release pipelines; monitor volume/anomalies, manage bot rules & internal traffic filters; continuously improve tracking coverage and reliability.
Your Profile
Experience: 3–7 years in digital analytics/Mar Tech; 2+ years hands‑on with Adobe Analytics implementation and Adobe Tags (Launch) / AEP Web SDK.
Mindset: Detail‑oriented, documentation‑driven, with a bias for automation, testing, and data quality.
Collaboration: Comfortable partnering with product, engineering, marketing, data science, and privacy teams.
Communication: Can translate technical tracking into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
Top 5 Technical Skills
Adobe Analytics Fundamentals
Mastery of e Vars, props, events , report suites, processing rules , classifications, segments , calculated metrics , and Analysis Workspace best practices.
Tag Management & SDKs
Proficient with Adobe Tags (Launch) , AEP Web SDK / Edge Network , App Measurement (web/app), mobile SDKs; strong grasp of data layer design (JSON/XDM) and event/data mapping.
Debugging & QA Tooling
Hands‑on with AEP Assurance (Project Griffon) , Adobe Experience Platform Debugger, network tools (Chrome Dev Tools, Charles/Fiddler ), sandbox testing, and automated validation.
Java Script & Implementation Engineering
Solid Java Script for custom rules, extensions, and data layer enrichment; understanding of SPA frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) routing and eventing implications on analytics.
Data Pipelines & Integrations
Experience with Data Feeds/Data Warehouse exports , S3/Big Query/Snowflake pipelines, BI handoffs; working knowledge of A4 T (Analytics for Target) and integrations with AEP/Target/CJA.
Nice-to-Have (Plus)
Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) , schema design, and connections.
Privacy/Consent platforms (One Trust, Trust Arc) and IAB TCF handling.
CI/CD & Dev Ops for tag deployments, Git, and environment strategy.
Testing frameworks (Cypress/Playwright) and analytics validation in CI.
Performance & SEO basics to ensure analytics doesn’t degrade UX.
