Adult Basic Education Instructor II (ADLC)

RESPONSIBILITIES

: The position of Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor II at the Adult Learning Centers, operated by MSU, is primarily responsible for the instruction of adult learners (90% instruction) and maintaining student records (10% data entry) at the Learning Centers and its learning sites. The ABE Instructor II is responsible for maintaining records of all students receiving instruction at the learning sites and reports as required by the Kentucky Department of Adult Education. This position will work a balanced schedule between the Learning Centers and learning sites in the counties operated by MSU.
REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor’s degree is required. The incumbent must be proficient in the basic educational skills required to provide GED instruction (reading, math, language, social studies, and science), literacy, ACT/KYOTE instruction and ESL.
