Role summary

Advanced Clinical Practitioner within the Emergency Department team, providing expert care and management to patients with a variety of conditions across Urgent and Emergency Care. HDFT ACPs are embedded as an integral part of the Medical Team. They are expected to make complex, autonomous decisions utilising expert practice and knowledge and evidence-based medicine. They work as part of a multidisciplinary team ensuring high quality patient care. The post holder will contribute to a safe, patient-focused service, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral and discharge of patients with a variety of presentations and diagnoses.
