The Bioinformatics Unit within the Cancer Genomics programme is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and talented bioinformatician. The selected candidate will work in the collection, analysis and interpretation of biological/clinical data, with a focus on high-throughput sequencing data. He or She will design data analysis strategies and develop and use computational tools for the exploration of large cancer data sets.

Criterios de evaluación

– MsC level in Bioinformatics or similar.
– Practical experience in high-throughput cancer genome data analysis (next-generation sequencing, gene expression, etc) with proved expertise in single-cell and spatial transcriptomics and familiarity with widely used genomic databases and software.
– Experience developing bioinformatics tools for analyzing cancer genomics data will be plus.
