Cell Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing mechanical activities, including testing, modeling and assessment to ensure compliance with regulations. This role translates client requirements into mechanical specifications and leads module/cell design and validation for optimal mechanical integration.

• Mechanical Characterization Responsibilities:

1. Conducting mechanical tests such as cell swelling characterization under charge/discharge, assessing the impact of inhomogeneities on mechanics, and determining the optimal operating pressure.
2. Performing abusive testing related to mechanics such as crush, drop penetration nail pressure sampling.
