Advanced Nurse Practitioner Annex 21

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative individual to work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) within Gastroenterology. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse who will embrace the challenge of this exciting and rewarding role.

Applicants should be a registered nurse, who, acting within their professional boundaries will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care. The successful applicant will demonstrate safe clinical decision making and expert care for patients.

The ANP will have a responsibility to teach, supervise, assess and mentor, and to plan, prioritise and delegate work to other staff members. The ANP will work across all four Pillars of Practice, developing and maintaining professional and organisational relationships with the multidisciplinary team.
