Major/Essential Functions

  • Supports all initiatives of 5 Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Patient Satisfaction, Quality, Financial Performance, Business Development and People Development
  • Elicits detailed patient histories.
  • Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical information, including health history and results of physical examination.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing and wound care and manages infections.
  • Reaches a diagnosis and orders appropriate diagnostic tests.
  • Administers or orders diagnostic tests such as radiology and laboratory tests, and interprets test results for deviations from normal and communicates results to patients.
  • Develops and implements patient care management plans, records progress notes and assists in the provision of continuity of care.
