Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Outpatient Cardiology
Location: South Bay Cardiovascular Associates, West Islip, NY

Role Overview:
We are seeking an NP or PA to support our outpatient cardiology practice. This role provides hands-on patient care, test interpretation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Order, review, and communicate tests and results.
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in patient education and individualized care planning.

    • Qualifications:

  • Cardiology / electrophysiology experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in 12-lead EKG; Nuclear Stress Testing experience a plus.
  • Ability to work occasional Saturdays.
  • Bachelor’s required; Master’s in NP or PA program preferred.
  • NYS PA or NP license and board certification.
  • Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
