Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer

Major established, expanding and brand name company at a large manufacturing site on the south side of the Atlanta metro with a good working culture has an opportunity for an Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer to be responsible for Supplier production process and part qualification (APQP) with emphasis on Lean Manufacturing, Defect Free environment, and Re-occurrence Prevention. New Supplier and new technology approval and development is part of the activities. This opportunity offers major company benefits, bonus potential, and up to 2% profit sharing. Responsibilities:

Work involves functioning as a technical liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement and monitor advanced quality planning, and provide support using independent judgment within the limits of general practices and standards.
